1904 Western Union telegram, received at the Meadville, Pa. office.

Western Union used to provide a viable alternative to the postal service. This 1904 telegram, from Warren, Pa., was delivered through the Western Union Meadville, Pa. office, which was at 202 Chestnut Street. Western Union delivered its last telegram in 2006.
